Valentine’s day is upon us therefore flowers and chocolate take centre stage in mosts shops and supermarkets allowing us to show affection in abundance. However, the celebration has become yet another materialistic season of over indulgence. So it was such a breath of fresh air when Laura Coxeter of Launette contacted me to photograph a workshop she was hosting at local craft workshop One The Square, Forest Row. Regardless of the convenient Valentines timing the workshop is so insightful on the work involved to create you own chocolate. Laura provides all the equipment and ingredients which are all natural. From dried bee pollen to neon pink powdered dragon fruit you have all you need at your finger tips to create chocolate you’d be hard pressed to find in your local supermarket.
The workshop itself was relaxed with gorgeous herbal teas and local cheeses for nibbles so if you’re looking simply to create a personal Valentine’s gift or even to give you the help and guidance to make show stopping Wedding favours, a chocolate workshop is great way to test your talents in chocolate making and would even be a great idea for a Hen Party activity. You can almost smell the molten chocolate in these images!

I love to work with small businesses to create wonderful imagery to showcase your work on Social Media. So if you are interested in hiring me to help make your brand stand out or to simply document an event for your blog, please get in touch.
