Last year I was invited by one of my oldest friends to come and sprinkle my reportage photography magic over her sisters Wedding back in my home town of Stoke On Trent. Her sister was marrying a guy who had been in my year at school so I knew this Wedding would become a trip down memory lane as Michele & Michael were still in touch with a few friends from way back when.
Their day did not disappoint, it was a hilarious from start to finish with Michele’s ‘wallflower’ Bridesmaids (ahem!) bumping and grinding in the kitchen to the Bucking Bronco (sheep) which threatened dislocation of shoulders to any willing guest that mounted it. Look out for the moment two Bridesmaids headbutt each other during the ceremony haha.
And I think you’ll find it difficult to find many pictures where Michael does not have a grin the size of a bus on his face!
Forecasts had predicted rain the whole week leading up to their day, however it was a glorious one once the guests arrived at Park Hall Farm and began downing their pimms. Children giggled with obligatory wedding bubbles and old friends laughed and joked in anticipation of Michael’s speech.
This gallery shows you what weddings are all about. Your friends and family around you and getting face ache from all the laughter! And of course whipping out ‘The Robot’ on the dance floor.
