        About Me ///

Hi there, I’m Kerry and here is my family. Dave, my Husband and our two sons Rufus (Teddy Bear) and Stanley (Pig)
I am a  Wedding, Family and Commercial photographer based in West Sussex (will travel if provided with haribo) and passions apart from photography are pom poms, mustard yellow, interior design and watching anything on TV that contains Zombies.
I have been shooting Weddings for a few years and have a very unobtrusive approach. Therefore if you are looking for a photographer who will weave themselves into the day without too much direction to create fabulous photojournalistic imagery of your day then give me a shout.

        My Photographic Style ///

My photographic style comes from an interest I had in my twenties of street and documentary photography. I captured most of my imagery on film through analogue and polaroid cameras made famous by the Lomography movement. Therefore my style of wedding and family photography is occasionally posed, where required, however the majority of my photography is impulsive and documentary in style, aiming to record all those elements on the day that are fleeting. I will capture all the details, quirks and interactions that are completely individual to you, your day and your family.

I obtained a bachelors degree in photography in 2001. After taking a little time out to go travelling I then moved to London to begin a ten year career in picture research and photographer representation. My first job was working for the photojournalism based agency ‘Network Photographers’ which opened my eyes to the hard hitting topics of photojournalism.

I then moved on to a celebrity based agency ‘Eyevine’ before moving to Dubai for a year to work on the picture desk of Ahlan! magazine. Returning to London in 2006 I then took up the position of magazine sales representative at one of the world’s leading photo agencies, Camera Press until the birth of our first son Stanley. Now with the addition of our second son Rufus I am now ready to take on my dream of providing my own unique style of photography to the couples, families and businesses of London and the South East.

I hope you find my website useful and be sure to click on the ‘blog’ to view my most recent work. If anything catches your eye please get in touch.

        FAQ ///

How would you describe your photographic style?

How do we know you are the right photographer for us?

Do you capture posed images of the day?

Do you capture formal family / group shots?

My style reflects my love of STREET PHOTOGRAPHY and my experience in the past of shooting and then cross processing 35mm film, my style aims to emulate FILM PHOTOGRAPHY through digital post processing.
So predominantly my couples are fans of colour photography that POPS with CONTRAST and black and white images that are STRONG and GRITTY.

        Giving Back ///

Group Shot is an initiative set up by photographer Ian France where Wedding Industry professionals can come together in force to donate as much as possible to a charity they feel a strong connection to.
My chosen charity is MacMillan Cancer research and I aim to make a donation from every wedding I book to help raise money for an amazing cause.
I also invite my couples and other wedding industry peeps to make a donation no matter how big or small over here.
        THANK YOU ///
